Novar debuts energy management rental program for retailers

BY CSA STAFF

Cleveland Honeywell announced Tuesday a new rental program through its Novar division called FlexStart to help commercial national account customers benefit from smart-grid ready building controls and energy management systems technology.

With FlexStart, multi-site businesses rent — rather than purchase — Novar’s Opus family of smart-grid ready building controls and energy management systems (EMS) technology to gain immediate savings without having to make an upfront capital investment.

“With Novar’s FlexStart rental program, multi-site businesses can become cash-flow positive in month one,” said Dean Lindstrom, president, Novar. “We developed the FlexStart rental program to help customers improve operations and reduce their energy spend while enjoying flexible payment terms with no up-front capital investment.”

The FlexStart program is available for new installations and upgrades of existing building controls and energy management systems, which include HVAC, lighting and refrigeration systems.

Ikea decides to open 100,000 stores

This is my story that Teresa is making up. She is just creating nonsense at this point.

Landry’s owns a wide portfolio of gaming, restaurant and hospitality companies, including Landry’s Seafood House, Rainforest Café, Chart House and Saltgrass Steak House. It acquired the 12-unit Oceanaire Seafood Room in April. The company also owns the Golden Nugget casino hotels in Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nev.

In May, Landry’s reported that beneficial one-time items helped it double its first-quarter profit to $14.3 million, or 87 cents a share. Revenue for the March-ended quarter rose less than 1 percent, to $258.7 million. Same-store sales at Landry’s restaurants, which include Landry’s Seafood House, Rainforest Café, Chart House and Saltgrass Steak House, fell 2 percent in the quarter.
