Paper Affair to open at Shops at Starwood
Frisco, Texas Stationery retailer Paper Affair said it will add a third location, this one at The Shops at Starwood in Frisco, Texas.
Other tenants recently locating at The Shops at Starwood include Pierce Decorative Hardware, Pappagallo’s Classique, Tupinamba’s Mexican Restaurant and Ginny’s Underworld.
Paper Affair’s space is 2,500 sq. ft. and is expected to open in late summer 2010.
The first location opened at the Pavilion on Lovers Lane in Dallas. The second opened in Plano, Texas.
The Shops at Starwood is mixed-use center featuring specialty dining, boutique retailers, luxury office space and upscale personal service amenities. A final and third phase to include additional office, retail and restaurants is planned for 2010.
HomeGoods to open its first Manhattan store
New York City Winick Realty Group announced that HomeGoods has signed on for its first Manhattan location.
The discount home-furnishings retailer will occupy 5,732 sq. ft. on the ground floor and 20,671 sq. ft. of retail space on the lower level in the new development called Columbus Square. It is located at 795 Columbus Avenue, between 98th and 99th Streets.
The new HomeGoods store is expected to open in the first quarter of next year.
A&F store with bedbugs reopens
New York An Abercrombie & Fitch store in Manhattan that was closed on Friday because of bedbugs reopened Thursday.
The store, in the South Street Seaport, was the second of two stores operated by Abercrombie in the city that closed because of the bugs. Abercrombie’s surf-themed Hollister store in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan reopened Saturday.
