PBTeen opens first Arizona store
San Francisco – PBteen opens its first Arizona-based PBteen store at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale, Arizona on July 18. It will serve as a combined location with Pottery Barn Kids, and this will be the 18th PBteen location in the U.S.
The PBteen store will be anchored around PBteen Design Lab, where teens and their parents can engage with the brand and its products by digitally creating a personalized room. Using drag and drop technology, teens can experiment with different room configurations and color combinations. There will also be on-site design specialists and products available at PBteen.com can be ordered through the store and shipped directly to the customer.
Mid-America arranges sale of Wanamaker Shopping Center
Topeka, Kan. — Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales team recently brokered the sale of Wanamaker Shopping Center in Topeka, Kansas. The regional shopping center was purchased for $18 million by Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Equity Investment Group.
The 269,875-sq.-ft. center is anchored by Big Kmart, Hobby Lobby, and Bed Bath & Beyond.
Joe Girardi of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation in cooperation with Eric Gonsher of The R.H. Johnson Company were the exclusive brokers in the transaction on behalf of Kansas City-based Eighteen Capital Group.
Dress Barn re-ups at Summit Plaza
Hackensack, N.J. — Dress Barn has renewed its lease for 4,200 sq. ft. at Summit Plaza in Hackensack, New Jersey. The 100,000-sq.-ft. retail property is owned and managed by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.
Dress Barn has been a tenant at Summit Plaza since 1999. The center is anchored by an expanded 62,000-sq.-ft. Super Stop & Shop and features service and retail tenants including Harmon Cosmetics, GNC, Payless ShoeSource, Radio Shack, the UPS Store, GameStop and Blimpie as well as the typical neighborhood services such as a nail salon, dry cleaner and a pizzeria.
