Piero Guidi debuts at 430 West Broadway
New York City — Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group announced that it has arranged a space for European fashion icon Piero Guidi at 430 West Broadway in New York City.
The 3,600-sq.-ft., double-height space features all-glass frontage, between Prince and Spring Streets.
Considered one of Italy’s most prestigious labels on a par with Gucci, Armani and Versace, the Urbino-based brand will be situated on a block already home to Missoni, Dolce & Gabbana, Emporio Armani, Avitto and Braccialini. Piero Guidi will also share the streetscape with DKNY, Diesel Kids, Robert Marc, Elie Tahari, and Max Azria. Additionally located along the corridor are Ralph Lauren, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, 7 For All Mankind and Anthropologie.
X Team welcomes new partner
Bethesda, Md. — Retail real estate alliance X Team International said it has named a new partner, Bethesda, Md.-based Streetsense.
Beyond traditional landlord and tenant representation, Streetsense offers architecture, interior design, branding, marketing and merchandising strategies to entrepreneurs, retailers, developers and public sector entities.
The firm’s team of retail strategists represents more than 50 retailers in the Washington, D.C., area, including: Starbucks, Chipotle, Le Pain Quotidien, Express, J. Jill, Jos. A. Bank and Petco.
HairParty 24 to open second Manhattan location
New York City — Winick Realty Group LLC announced that HairParty 24, a 24-hour hair salon and spa with locations in New York and Seoul, has leased its second Manhattan location at the former Marc D’Orsay Salon at 450 Park Avenue South, between 30th and 31st Streets.
The space includes 1,300 sq. ft. on the ground floor and 2,000 sq. ft. in a selling basement that will be used for parties.
