Popeyes selects Envysion as video provider

Louisville, Colo. — Video provider Envysion said Monday that chicken chain Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has completed deploying the company’s Envysion Insight solution to all corporate owned restaurant locations.

Popeyes will use Envysion’s video-driven business intelligence in its 40 company-operated locations to improve loss prevention efforts, optimize operations and drive restaurant-level profitability.

Envysion’s solution combines video with data from business systems like the point of sale to give restaurant operators an unfiltered view into every aspect of restaurant-level operations from sales and operations to loss prevention and risk.

Harvey Norman deploys Lyris for digital marketing

Emeryville, Calif. — Digital marketing solution-provider Lyris said Monday that Australian retailer Harvey Norman has selected and deployed Lyris’ digital marketing platform to increase online conversions and lead generation for the company’s 180 retail stores.

Using Lyris, Harvey Norman will increase the quality of customer engagement across digital channels, and by doing so increase retention and loyalty.

"In retail we are constantly trying to reach customers with relevant, timely and valuable information," said Dan Hosford, digital marketing director at Generic Publications, Harvey Norman’s internal advertising agency.

Harvey Norman needed a reliable and robust digital marketing platform to better understand customer behaviors and use that knowledge to deliver superior customer experiences. Lyris’ intuitive interface and intelligent campaign features empower the retailer to set up automated trigger campaigns and respond to critical conversion opportunities, such as online cart abandonment. Additionally, Harvey Norman can capture customer interactive data from a variety of structured and unstructured sources, including social, email, mobile and hundreds of enterprise applications (a.k.a. "Big Data"), to power digital marketing campaigns that deliver higher revenues.

Foot Locker unveils new fitness concept for women

New York — Foot Locker announced Tuesday the introduction of SIX:02, an elevated retail concept featuring fitness apparel and athletic footwear for women.

The first three stores will open for the holiday season in Stamford Mall in Stamford, Conn., Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, N.J., and North Star Mall in San Antonio, Texas.

SIX:02’s concept is based on being the first-to-market design around a broad assortment of women’s athletic brands in an environment created specifically for that female customer, according to Foot Locker.

The store features dedicated fit zones and fitting lounge areas, as well as a service concept that features an on-premise consultative selling team.

“A woman’s day tends to be packed with work, family, and friends. She often finds a moment for herself at the gym, during a run, or at an early morning fitness class," said Stacy Cunningham, executive VP marketing at Foot Locker. "She deserves a place to find premium fitness and athletic gear that allows her to combine her personal style and versatility with performance features. We are excited to offer her that opportunity and experience at SIX:02."
