Regal Cinemas Theatre to open at Moorestown Mall
Moorestown, N.J. — Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust announced that it has executed a deal with Regal Entertainment Group to build the Regal Moorestown Mall Stadium 12 & Regal Premium Experience at Moorestown Mall, in southern N.J.
The 56,000-sq.-ft., 12-screen theatre is slated to open in time for the 2013 summer movie season.
As the first RPX in the market, the custom-built theatre will replace the existing United Artist theatre, and more than doubles its size. It will feature digital projectors, surround sound, 2D and RealD 3D, stadium seating with high-back rocking recliner seats, and Regal Express kiosks for automated ticket purchasing.
Moorestown Mall is a 1 million-sq.-ft. enclosed regional shopping mall anchored by Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Sears and Boscov’s.
Sears concepts slated to open in Texas
Fort Worth, Texas — Edge Realty Partners announced several Sears concept planned openings in Texas.
Sears Outlet leased a 30,577-sq.-ft. space in Ridgmar Town Square located in Fort Worth, Texas. Sears Appliance Showroom leased a 5,500-sq.-ft. space in Timber Creek Crossing in Dallas.
And Sears Outlet leased a 35,398-sq.-ft. space in Cottonwood Creek Village Shopping Center located in Allen, Texas.
Fameco to manage 430,000-sq.-ft. Stanbery retail portfolio
Plymouth Meeting, Pa. — Fameco Real Estate announced that its property management division, Fameco Management Services, has been awarded the property management assignment for Stanbery Development’s Pennsylvania and New Jersey retail portfolio. This assignment includes four specialty centers totaling 430,000 sq. ft.
The portfolio consists of two specialty centers in Pennsylvania and two in New Jersey: The Shoppes at Susquehanna Marketplace in Harrisburg, Pa., The Shoppes at English Village in Montgomeryville, Pa., The Shoppes at Old Bridge in Old Bridge, N.J., and The Shoppes at Union Hill in Denville, N.J.
