Renovation launches at Somerville Circle shopping center
Raritan, N.J. Levin Management Corp. said Monday that a facelift is under way at Somerville Circle shopping center in Raritan, N.J.
At the same time, a recent pad site building approval and an upcoming small tenant vacancy will create the first leasing opportunities in several years at the 157,000-sq. ft. retail center.
A three-phase renovation will include a new facade and upgraded signage.
Tenants include Five Below, Panera Bread, Staples, Petco, Toys“R”Us, P.C. Richard & Son, Burger King and PNC Bank.
Aeropostale debuts new retail format
New York City Aeropostale has unveiled its newest format, a children’s wear concept called “P.S. from Aeropostale” in the Palisades Mall in West Nyack, N.Y. The brand offers trend-right, value-priced merchandise for girls and boys ages 7 to 12.
Jimmy Jazz expands in N.C. market
Charlotte, N.C. Jimmy Jazz, a Brooklyn, N.Y.-based urban clothing and footwear retailer, has added two stores in North Carolina. The new locations opened Thursday at Carolina Place Mall in Pineville and Charlotte’s Northlake Mall.
Since the start of 2009, Jimmy Jazz has added stores in Raleigh-Durham and Winston-Salem. Other locations in the North Carolina market include Fayetteville, Cary and Greensboro.
