Report: Ace to add Atlanta stores

BY CSA STAFF

Oak Brook, Ill. Independent home-improvement chain Ace Hardware is opening three more new stores in metro Atlanta, according to an article in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Taking advantage of the increasing number of vacant retail spaces, and adding a little competition in Home Depot’s headquartering city, Ace is preparing to open new stores in Cumming, Dacula and Dallas this spring. Over the last six months, Ace opened stores in nearby Braselton, Kennesaw, Sandy Springs and Stockbridge. The new additions will bring the whole cooperative’s presence to 54 stores in the metro area, according to the article.
