Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th plans new Florida store
New York — Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th plans to open a new store in Aventura, Fla., on Sept. 20.
The store will be located in Town Center Aventura developed in partnership with Turnberry Media and will be the third Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th location in Miami. The 28,000-sq.-ft. layout includes an open floor plan, moveable fixtures and bright lighting.
“Miami, Florida is a great market for Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, where we have many loyal customers,” said Robert Wallstrom, president of Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th. “We believe the opening of our new store at the Town Center of Aventura will quickly become a premier destination for shoppers in this vibrant market. Hhgregg opens Cincy store
Indianapolis — Hhgregg will open a new store in the Cincinnati area on Sept. 19. The new store, located at 5045 Glencrossing Way in the Western Hills section of Cincinnati, will replace the previous location at 5111 Glencrossing Way.
“We are excited to introduce a new, modern store to our customers in Western Hills,” said Jeff Pearson, senior VP of marketing for Hhgregg. “We hope that Cincinnati-area residents will take advantage of special sale pricing at all of our local stores, including great specials on a wide variety of computers, televisions, phones, tablets and appliances.”

McAlister’s Deli to develop 17 restaurants in Indiana, Georgia, and South Carolina
Alpharetta, Ga. — McAlister’s Deli announced plans to develop 17 restaurants in Indiana, South Carolina, and Georgia as part of new multi-unit development agreements with two existing franchise groups.

McIndy Ventures a current McAlister’s franchisee with 16 restaurants will develop 14 new restaurants in Indiana with the first location scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2014.
DMAC81 an existing franchisee with 10 McAlister’s restaurants, plans to open three restaurants in Georgia and South Carolina with the first location slated to open in second quarter 2014 in Georgia.
