Sears debuts new omni-channel fast fashion format in April

Hoffman Estates, Ill. – Sears is launching Now + Here, a fast fashion shop available in Sears stores across the country, on Sears.com and Shopyourway.com, in the second week of April. The Now + Here shops offer a new shop environment with monthly deliveries.

The fully integrated retail experience extends online with access to exclusive content, including behind the scenes videos and fashion tips.

To celebrate the launch of Now + Here, Sears will host a virtual event, followed by a live fashion chat with celebrity Brooke Burke-Charvet at Searsspringfashion.com on April 14. Shoppers and members will be able to register at Searsspringfashion.com and invite their friends to the event that will include a virtual runway show experience, behind the scenes video, new product lookbook and live shopping of all the looks throughout the show. During the live chat, Burke-Charvet will share her best fashion tips, answer guest questions and offer style advice to registrants. Shop Your Way members will also get special access to view a unique style video created by Brooke. Live updates will be posted throughout the event on SearsStyle.com and Shopyourway.com.

"Launching the Now + Here shop with a virtual fashion event not only gives her a front row seat to the launch, it takes her inside to experience and purchase the product in a whole new way. It also showcases our integrated approach and focus on shopping made fun and easy."

DSW opens three new stores April 3

Columbus, Ohio – DSW Inc. opens three new stores April 3. The stores will be located in Reading, Pa., Olympia, Wash., and White Plains, N.Y.

DSW Rewards is a free loyalty program in which customers earn certificates toward future DSW purchases and receive special member-only offers. Customers can also participate in a Shoe Lover community on Facebook.

Tractor Supply to open 1,300th store; plans 2,100 units

Brentwood, Tenn. — Tractor Supply Company is opening its 1,300th store, as the company continues to grow toward its stated opportunity of 2,100 domestic store locations. The 1,300th store, located in Bullhead City, Ariz., will celebrate its grand opening on March 29, 2014.

"The opening of our 1,300th store marks another milestone in Tractor Supply’s 76-year history,” said Greg Sandfort, president and CEO. "While we are pleased with our progress, we are even. We have grown significantly, but our commitment to our mission and values and being the most dependable supplier of basic maintenance products has not changed," more excited about our Company’s future and the tremendous growth opportunities ahead."

Tractor Supply operates stores in every state with the exception of Alaska and Utah. The company continues to expand its presence in the West, as it entered Arizona, Nevada, and Wyoming in 2013 and anticipates opening its first store in Utah later this year.
