Silver Jeans Co. to open at Woodfield Center
Winnipeg, Manitoba — Silver Jeans Co. will open a store at Woodfield Mall on April 11, in Schaumburg, Ill.

The 2,058-sq.-ft. store at Woodfield Mall is designed to provide consumers with a unique and creative denim experience. From the unique sliding loft doors to the hanging hammock and eclectic mix of chairs throughout, the store was designed with a playful and fun feel. The rustic wood paneling, craftsman style denim bar and vintage Western Glove Works factory photos reflect the Silver Jeans Co. heritage.
The store will also feature the latest in digital technology with an innovative mobile point of sale system. A 6-ft. media wall displaying the latest campaign and breakthrough music videos as well as behind the scenes features from Silver Jeans Co. campaign photo shoots will be the centerpiece.
Hudson’ Bay Co.’s CFO resigns
Toronto — Michael Culhane, CFO of Hudson’s Bay Company, has resigned following a leave of absence from the company.
Culhane went on personal leave on January 22, at which time COO and president Donald Watros was appointed acting CFO. He will continue in that role until a permanent replacement is named.
“This is the ideal time for me to leave HBC as the company is well positioned for the future,” said Culhane. “I wish all of HBC’s associates and business partners continued success.”
The retailer has engaged a leading executive search firm to assist in recruiting a new CFO.
Junction Solutions to implement Microsoft Dynamics at auto parts retailer Eckler
Denver — Junction Solutions announced it will implement Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and JunctionMCR at Eckler Industries, the leading provider of parts and accessories for classic and enthusiast automobiles, to support the retailer’s multichannel growth strategy.

The three-phased implementation calls for replacement of the retailer’s legacy systems that include ERP, order management, product information management system, point-of-sale, warehouse management system, and other applications.
