Simon Property names senior communications exec

Indianapolis — Simon Property Group announced that it has named Liz Zale as senior VP in a newly created role overseeing corporate affairs and communications, effective May 1.

Zale’s responsibilities will include supervision of Simon’s investor relations, public relations, corporate communications, and government relations functions.

She previously served as senior VP investor relations for Nielsen Holdings.

Winick to market former Daffy’s at 3 Columbus Circle

New York — SL Green Realty Corp. and The Moinian Group announced they have appointed Winick Realty Group to exclusively market the former Daffy’s location at 3 Columbus Circle, in Manhattan.

The multi-level retail site is situated in the center of the 57th Street corridor, in close proximity to the new Nordstrom location that is set to open in 2018.

Possible configurations for the space include 5,279 sq. ft. on the ground floor and 18,883 sq. ft. in the lower level. The potential addition of second-floor retail will add 14,205 sq. ft. and more than 100 feet of window signage that will face one of Nordstrom’s entrances on Broadway between 57th and 58th Streets.

Jones Lang LaSalle names Midwest team additions

Chicago — Jones Lang LaSalle announced the addition of Larry Kilduff, Claire Bitautas and Anne Imming to its retail team.

Kilduff will serve as a VP and the retail management lead in the Midwest. Bitautas and Imming will serve as VPs on the brokerage team focusing on the downtown and suburban Chicago market. In their new roles they will partner with Midwest retail market lead Mark Hunter.

Kilduff previously owned and operated two retail real estate development companies and worked with retailers such as Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart, Sears, Bon-Ton, Kohl’s and J.C. Penney. He has collaborated with REITs and developers including DDR, Weingarten Realty, Kimco, CBL & Associates and GGP.

Bitautas served as VP at NAI Hiffman where she was responsible for the leasing of 16 properties including OakBrook Promenade and worked on developments in Chicago, Wilmette, St. Charles, Geneva, Roselle, Naperville and Hinsdale.

Imming served as a senior associate at NAI Hiffman. She specializes in market intelligence and strategic planning.
