Sirma Solutions releases white label loyalty platform

Richmond, England – Sirma Solutions JSC is releasing Loyax, a white label loyalty platform. Loyax provides businesses with reporting and analytics designed to enable companies to understand their customers and offer personalized rewards based on customer buying behavior.

Loyax analytical and reporting features include back-office reporting, customer behavior analytics and data enhancement. The loyalty software now provides more detailed information about customer spending habits, including number of visits and spend, average time between visits/purchases, preferred products and services, and a comparison between points earned and points redeemed Further analysis based on customer demographic profiles, as well as detailed comparison reports are available as well. All the reports are presented in both tabular and graphic view with options to be exported in standard file formats for further processing.

Advance Auto Parts appoints SVP, supply chain management

Advance Auto Parts has appointed David Allen as SVP, supply chain management. Allen will report to Charles Tyson, EVP, merchandising, marketing and supply chain, and will be based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Allen will lead the supply chain function in its efforts to support Advance’s stores and commercial customers. This includes developing strategies to support the integration of Advance’s supply chain with Carquest.

“I am excited to welcome David to the Advance team to continue our work toward providing superior availability to our stores and customers. David brings extensive leadership and supply chain experience, and we look forward to his contributions to our supply chain capabilities,” said Tyson.

Allen as previously served as the senior operations executive for Del Monte Foods, Dell and Frito-Lay North America. Recently, Allen has also been an operating partner for TriPointe Capital Partners, an investment firm in distribution companies. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Kettering University, General Motors Institute and a master of business administration degree from Harvard Graduate School of Business.

Bebe bolsters omnichannel capabilities

Bebe is looking to carve out a place for itself in the e-commerce market and to that end is honing its online and mobile strategy.

The retailer has selected Digital Experience Management (DXM) platform provider Qubit to provide a wide reaching and bespoke A/B testing, website optimization and personalization program designed to increase conversion rates. It also plans to launch a new responsive mobile site in the near future.

"With the importance of this move, we wanted a vendor that could give us a groundbreaking testing and personalization program," said Bebe EVP and chief digital officer Erik Lautier. "We required a real partnership that could help us visualize and execute our goals. We are delighted to appoint Qubit which built its offer to us around incredible technology, a very clear strategic roadmap and the sort of premium account management we were looking for."

Qubit’s integrated analytics and personalization hub will use various data points, from visitor opinion to visitor behavior, to identify customer segments and areas worth testing.

Qubit’s technology will enable Bebe to target customers based on previous purchases. The retailer will also be able to serve content to visitors in real-time during a shopping session based on their specific needs such as delivery information or support with navigation.

The biggest benefit that its technology will deliver to Bebe, according to Qubit, is the ability to measure the true incremental revenue that the relationship drives onto the bottom line.

Founded in 2010 by four ex-Googlers, Qubit is headquartered in London with offices in New York and Paris. Qubit works with some of the world’s leading e-commerce businesses, including Topshop, Staples, John Lewis, Farfetch and now Bebe. The company received $7.5 million funding from Balderton Capital in December 2012.
