Stirling chief named VP of ICSC Southern Division
Covington, La. — Marty Mayer, president and CEO of Stirling Properties, won election as VP of the International Council of Shopping Centers’ Southern Division at RECon in May.
As a divisional VP, Mayer will also sit on the Government Relations Advisory Committee. In addition, he currently serves on the Executive Committee of ICSC’s Worldwide Board of Trustees.
Jones Lang LaSalle brokers Hancock Village sale
Richmond, Va. — Jones Lang LaSalle has closed the sale of phase I of Hancock Village on behalf of Edco in Richmond, Va.’s Chesterfield submarket.
Cole Real Estate Investments purchased the 153,853-sq.-ft. shopping center anchored by Dick’s Sporting Goods and Hobby Lobby. A Walmart Supercenter shadow-anchors the development.
JLL said the center is 100% leased.
Ross Realty and RMC join forces
Tampa, Fla. — RMC Property Group and The Ross Realty Group have merged. Effective June 3, Ross Realty’s investment sales and office leasing team has become RMC Ross Realty, and the Ross Realty property management team has become RMC Property Group.
The merged company oversees the management, leasing and sales of more than 8.4 million sq. ft. of commercial property and more than 900 tenants.
Elliott Ross, president of the former Ross Realty, will manage brokerage sales from the former Ross Realty’s headquarters in Clearwater, Fla. The property management division will move to RMC’s home office in Tampa, Fla.
