Target Names Executive VP
Minneapolis Target Corp. announced late Monday that it has named Kathee Tesija executive VP of merchandising. The appointment is effective May 1.
Tesija, 45, was most recently senior VP of merchandising for Target’s baby, beauty, commodities, electronics, entertainment, health and wellness, pharmacy, sporting goods and toys divisions.
Home Depot CIO to Leave Company
Atlanta The Home Depot announced that Bob DeRodes, executive VP and CIO, has decided to leave the company at the end of the year. DeRodes will remain responsible for all of the organization’s information technology until his departure. The company will begin an immediate search for his replacement
DeRodes, who joined The Home Depot in February 2002, developed and built the company’s current IT infrastructure.
Cato CFO Resigns
Charlotte, N.C. Cato Corp. said on Friday that Tom Stoltz has resigned as CFO and executive VP, effective April 18, to join another company. The company said it will begin a search for Stoltz’s replacement. Internal candidates will also be considered. Senior VP and controller John Howe will serve as CFO until a permanent replacement is found, the company said.
The company said that Stoltz, who joined Cato in late 2006, has joined a privately held online sports-apparel retailer as CFO. Cato did not identify the company.
