Target opens 8 clinic locations
Minneapolis Target Corp. said Tuesday that it is opening eight new Target Clinic locations in Chicago and Palm Beach, Fla.
The walk-in medical clinics open Tuesday, with five in the Chicago area and three in and around Palm Beach.
The first Target Clinic opened in Minnesota in 2006. There are currently 21 Target Clinic locations in Minnesota and seven locations in Maryland.
Red Mango extends real estate contract with Cassidy Turley
St. Louis Commercial real estate firm Cassidy Turley said that Red Mango has extended its service agreement with Cassidy Turley Corporate Services.
In 2009, Cassidy Turley developed and implemented a turn-key process for the yogurt chain’s store openings, which includes site selection, lease negotiation, design and construction management.
“After identifying initial challenges with growing our restaurant, we turned to Cassidy Turley to help assist us in reducing the overall cost of opening Red Mango stores,” said Greg Kaloustian, chief development officer of Red Mango.
Red Mango operates more than 70 stores in 17 states.
Regency Centers acquires Chicago-area shopping center
Glenview, Ill. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has closed on the acquisition of Glen Oak Plaza, a 62,443-sq.-ft. neighborhood shopping center located in Glenview, Ill., and anchored by Trader Joe’s and Walgreens.
Regency purchased the property on Sept. 1 for $18 million from the Adinamis family, a Chicago-area family real estate partnership.
Other tenants in the center include NorthShore University HealthSystem; FirstMerit Bank; Einstein Bros. Bagels; Starbucks; Boston Market; and a variety of retail, restaurants and service businesses.
The center is 97% leased.
Regency owns 16 other retail centers in the Chicago metro area, totaling more than 2.2 million sq. ft.
