Two Conway stores to open in Chicago area

X team International announced that Naperville, Ill.-based partner Bobowski & Associates has brokered two new Conway discount-clothing store deals in the Chicago area along with master broker Gregg Lurie of Creative Realty Group.

The first Conway store is a 20,052-sq.-ft. space previously occupied by Office Depot in the Cermak Produce, Famsa and Kerasotes Theatre-anchored Hawthorne Works Shopping Center in Cicero, Ill.

The second Conway store, previously occupied by Steve & Barry’s, opened in the North Riverside Park Mall in North Riverside, Ill.

Kmart to open for 64 hours, celebrities offer gift ideas

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. Sears Holdings announced that to assist customers with last-minute shopping, it is keeping 352 Kmart stores across the country open for 64 consecutive hours beginning Dec. 22 at 6 a.m. until Dec. 24 at 10 p.m.(local time), to help fulfill customers’ last-minute shopping needs.

Sears Holdings also enlisted some of its celebrity partners for their last-minute gift ideas. Ty Pennington, host of ABC’s “Extreme Home Makeover,” of which Sears is a sponsor, touted Craftsman’s three-piece adjustable wrench set for $24.99 and the Element 2GB MP3 player for $24.99 as viable gift options, while former “Charlie’s Angels” star Jaclyn Smith promoted her branded sweater and Country Living bedspread collection for $14.99 among her choices for last-minute presents.

WESTBURY, N.Y. Jewelry and chandelier designer Dorian Webb is reportedly designing two collections for lighting manufacturer Crystorama. Jewelry and chandelier designer Dorian Webb is reportedly designing two collections for lighting manufacturer Crystorama.

The two collections will debut at the Dallas International Lighting Market from Jan. 14 to 18 and will feature colored crystals and intricate designs, according to reports.
