Urban Outfitters rolls out social media sales tool from Needle
Salt Lake City — Needle announced that Urban Outfitters will use Needle’s Guided Shopping Platform to serve its customers with a personalized online shopping experience. The platform provides a rich chat toolset for agents to assist online shoppers to make a purchase decision including the ability to interactively demonstrate features of products, cross-sell and up-sell with an outfit builder and cart builder, and create social coupons to share with friends via Facebook.

Ashley Furniture taps TD Retail Card Services to develop credit card program
Mahwah, N.J. — Ashley Furniture Industries has selected TD Retail Card Services (TDRCS) to develop and administer a private label credit card program for its Furnish123 retail concept. The format is focused on single-category pricing.
Under the agreement, the Mahwah, N.J-based business unit of TD Bank, N.A., will direct all facets of the program for Furnish123. It will offer consumers a variety of custom financing options, as well as other special incentives and offers.
Modell’s Sporting Goods deploys Access Via’s automated signage program
