Vietnamese restaurant signs lease at Five Points
Santa Barbara, Calif. Regency Centers announced that it has leased space in Five Points Shopping Center in Santa Barbara to Saigon In & Out Vietnamese Restaurant.
The restaurant has leased 3,000 sq. ft. and is slated to open this summer.
The 144,553-sq.-ft. Five Points center is anchored by Ross Dress for Less, Albertsons and Longs Drug Stores, along with retailers including Petco, Great Earth Vitamins, Starbucks, Massage Envy and Cingular Wireless.
Masa’s Sushi Japanese Cuisine to open at West Park Plaza
San Jose, Calif. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased restaurant space in San Jose, Calif., at West Park Plaza to Masa’s Sushi Japanese Cuisine.
The restaurant operator has leased 1,760 sq. ft. and is slated to open this summer.
The 88,103-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by Safeway and Rite Aid alongside Supercuts, Tuesday Morning and Starbucks.
Charter Realty forms enclosed mall division
Westport, Conn. Charter Realty & Development Corp. said it has formed a new division devoted to enclosed malls. The Enclosed Mall Division will offer leasing, redevelopment, management and lenders advisory services for enclosed malls throughout the eastern United States.
The new division will be headed up by Peter Elliott, formerly with Simon Property Group, Pyramid Co., Urban Retail Properties, Commonwealth Development and Forest City Enterprises.
