Virgin Mobile expands member benefits
Virgin Mobile has entered into a partnership with Banana Republic that will offer its Canadian members the newest looks from the brand for less.
Starting today through Dec. 31, Virgin Mobile members will receive 20% off any one full-priced item at Banana Republic stores across the country.

"Our members can’t get enough of our current fashion promotions and we know our members will love receiving deals on the modern and classic pieces that Banana Republic is known for."
How does it work?

- Fill out the online form with your name, email address and mobile number
- Watch as your exclusive coupon populates on the landing page
- Print the coupon or email it to yourself for safe keeping
- Bring a hard copy or flash the coupon from your smartphone to redeem in store. Members can use one coupon per transaction.
Rue La La opens online dressing room
Rue La La, a leading online lifestyle shopping destination, has launched DressingRoom, a series of boutiques that offer members a one-stop shopping experience the features everything from necklaces and vases to linens and dresses.
DressingRoom offers cross-channel inspiration via themed boards and how-to content. The series kicks off this month with "Bright & Bohemian," followed by "Minimalist Whites" and then "Weekend Casual" throughout the month of June.

Staples bolsters European leadership team
Staples has appointed Thomas Nowak, most recently SVP, merchandising for bol.com, one of Europe’s largest e-commerce sites, as SVP of merchandising, Staples Europe, effective Aug. 1.
Nowak will report to president of Staples Europe John Wilson, and will be a member of the European leadership team.
“As part of our strategic transformation, we are making significant investments to expand our assortment and offer our customers more products than ever before,” Wilson said. “Thomas will play an integral part in our strategy, as his background and e-commerce experience will be critical in helping take us to the next level.”
Nowak has also held positions at Samsung Electronics and Philips Consumer Electronics. He has 15 years of business-to-business and business-to-consumer experience. Some of his recent notable achievements were introducing six new product categories for bol.com, and expanding the next day delivery capability to over one million items.
In his new role, Nowak will focus on product category expansions and pricing strategy.
