Winn-Dixie Adds 55 Stores to Hispanic Markets
Jacksonville, Fla., Winn-Dixie Stores announced it will be adding 55 stores to its Hispanic Neighborhood Merchandising program in the United States. The expansion includes 30 locations in the Miami market and 25 Orlando-area stores.
The chain has 103 of its 522 locations that are specifically merchandised and marketed to the Hispanic consumer, blending products and services for Hispanics into its core offerings.
Texas Bookman Launches On-line Outlet
Dallas, Texas Bookman has launched TexasBookman.com, an online wholesale distributor of remainder, promotional, closeout, and bargain priced books. The site carries more than 1,500 titles, with an emphasis on the visual and performing arts, architecture, history, literature, children’s stories, crafts and science.
The new outlet allows customers to view and order merchandise in real time, instead of depending on quarterly print catalogs that may be out of date.
