Moe Szyslak’s tavern—hangout of Carl Carlson, Barney Gumble and Homer Simpson—is on Walnut Street in Springfield. But, for a short run, Moe’s Tavern is now also open at Springfield Mall in Delaware County, Pa.

The 589,000-sq.-ft- mall owned and operated by PREIT has introduced a Moe’s Tavern pop-up shop there, offering Duff Beer and Drunkin’ D’Ohnuts milkshakes with a caloric content that might make even Homer shudder.

Homer himself peers through the window above the cigarette machine near the karaoke mike, a neon “Beer is the Answer” sign adorns the bar, and fans can shoot some stick at the pool table while listening to some of the scads of crank calls Bart has made to the famed cartoon tavern. (He once was surprised when he called asking to speak to “Hugh Jass” and Mr. Jass was in attendance.)

Ticket packages start at $37 for adults and include food, beer, soft drinks, and a souvenir. Kids too young to sample a Duff get in for $20. Created by JMC Pop Ups, Moe’s (Mall) Tavern will be open Fridays through Sundays until the end of the month.
