Hanna Andersson names CEO

Aimée Lapic
Aimée Lapic has been named CEO of Hanna Andersson.

Hanna Andersson has tapped an experienced digital marketing executive as its next chief executive.

The DTC children’s apparel brand has appointed Aimée Lapic as CEO. She succeeds Sally Pofcher, who will transition to become the non-executive board chair. Pofcher took the reins of the company in March 2021 following the departure of Mike Edwards.

Lapic is a seasoned digital and marketing executive with over 20 years of experience in growing digital businesses and developing sophisticated go-to-market capabilities.

Lapic joins Hanna Andersson from GoPro, where she served as chief digital and marketing officer. She is credited with growing GoPro’s subscribers five-fold to more than 1.74 million as of March 2022 and helping to increase the company’s revenue close to $400 million at the end of last year.

Prior to GoPro, Lapic served as the chief marketing officer and head of subscriptions at Pandora Media. Earlier in her career, she held multiple marketing leadership roles at Gap Inc.

"Throughout her impressive career, Aimée has established herself as a proven digital and marketing executive, and as a highly skilled leader with a track record of driving results at iconic brands,” said Nikhil Thukral, managing partner at L Catterton, which purchased Hanna Andersson in 2016. “We are confident that her expertise will accelerate Hanna's digital roadmap and build on the brand's current momentum.

Hanna Andersson offers clothing and accessories for children ages newborn to 12 years. It also features a complementary assortment of family apparel.

“As a mother of three, I have been a longtime admirer of Hanna and have always loved its unique brand heritage, exceptional product quality, and enduring commitment to sustainability,” said Lapic. “I am so honored to be a part of this amazing brand and to play a part in bringing the joy Hanna has brought to my family to more families through an unparalleled digital experience.”
