Ibotta partners with CPG brands for grocery give-back

A mobile rewards and payments platform is providing cashback on select grocery and consumable products, with a little help.

Ibotta is teaming up with CPG brands including Kellogg’s Cereal, Tic Tac, Huggies Pull-Ups, and Cheez-its to launch the “Here to Help” campaign. Through the campaign, Ibotta and its brand partners are committing over $10 million in dedicated cashback offers on grocery and consumables for customers across the U.S.
 
The campaign’s participating brand offers include items like bread, snacks and personal care goods. When consumers purchase these items, they will immediately receive cashback in their Ibotta account, which they can send to PayPal, or redeem for gift cards at stores like Walmart and Amazon. Ibotta has committed to funding extra cashback opportunities in bonuses and special offers on staples, and collectively, these commitments are worth $10 million in extra cashback.

We are honored to partner with leading brands to help consumers in this time of need.”
 
Ibotta is also beta testing a new browser extension that enables consumers to earn cash back when shopping online from a desktop. The extension is only available to select Ibotta members and works on the Chrome browser.
