J.C. Penney reimagines two private apparel brands for fall

J.C. Penney is relaunching its J. Ferrar menswear brand.

 J.C. Penney Co. Inc. is moving forward with its apparel push.

The department store retailer is relaunching its J. Ferrar and Stafford menswear collections. The J. Ferrar brand has been redesigned with modern style and comfort in mind, and is now offering an expanded assortment of contemporary pants, shirts, and layering pieces.

Meanwhile, the redesigned J.C. Penney Stafford assortment offers tailored suits and dress shirts, and a wide array of men’s sweaters, outerwear, and finely crafted footwear. The new fall collections will be available  Penney stores and online beginning Thursday, Sep. 16.

In addition, the retailer has redesigned its inclusive, private intimate apparel brand Ambrielle.

This fall, Penney is also preparing for the fall launch of J.C. Penney Beauty, a new, inclusive in-store and online shopping environment, which will offer a mix of mass, “masstige,” and prestige products at a one-stop-shop which will start debuting in select stores and online in October 2021. The retailer is creating its shop-in-shop experience in partnership with inclusive beauty brands including Thirteen Lune, a beauty and wellness e-commerce platform designed to promote discovery of beauty brands created by black and brown founders for people of all backgrounds.
