Indochino, West Edmonton Mall, Edmonton, Alberta

BY CSA STAFF

Indochino’s recently opened showroom at West Edmonton Mall showcases the omnichannel brand’s stylish approach to customized menswear apparel.

The 3,200-sq.-ft. space features eye-catching graphics, both on the exterior and interior, along with video screens that convey the brand’s message of offering a “luxury tailoring experience without the high price tag.”

The environment is modern and sophisticated, but with a hip edge. The interior includes a lounge for tailoring and also one for wedding (groom) parties.

Indochino’s physical outposts are designed to bring the brand’s online experience to life. Customers are paired with a “style guide” who tailors the appointment based on each customer’s needs and helps him to put together a one-of-a-kind suit or shirt. The associate helps with fabric selection, and walk shoppers through a wide variety of personalization options, including buttons, pockets, lapels and monograms. Each garment is made-to-order and delivered in about four weeks.

Indochino opened its first permanent brick-and-mortar location in 2015, and currently operates 13 showrooms across Canada and the United States, with four more U.S. sites opening this summer. The upcoming U.S. locations include New York City, Chicago, King of Prussia, Pa., and MacLean, Va.
