Ralph Lauren provides consumer-type experience for golf wholesalers

BY Dan Berthiaume

Wholesale partners of Ralph Lauren’s golf business can now go shopping.

Ralph Lauren is launching a new digital B2B commerce platform, based on Salesforce technology, for its golf business. The luxury brand’s wholesale golf partners, including pro shops, resorts, and specialty retailers that sell its apparel and accessories, can now connect with it from anywhere on a 24/7 basis.

Built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud and Community Cloud, the new platform is designed to remove friction from the B2B buying process and provide golf wholesalers with a buying experience that mirrors online consumer shopping.

Ralph Lauren’s wholesale golf partners who connect with the Salesforce platform can obtain visibility into important supply chain metrics such as inventory, shipping and logistics. They can also use the platform for activities including curating a collection, prebooking an order, and customizing products for tournaments and events.

By bringing previously offline selling processes into the cloud, Ralph Lauren hopes to increase the efficiency and transparency of its wholesale golf business.
