Travel retailer migrates to new POS
North American travel retailer Hudson Group is journeying toward a more flexible POS solution.
Hudson Group, which operates over 1,050 stores in 87 airport and transportation terminal locations in the U.S. and Canada, has selected the PCMS Vision Commerce suite as its POS commerce system. The company’s anchor brands include Hudson, Hudson News and Hudson Booksellers, and its stores serve retail verticals including travel essentials, convenience, food and beverage, and specialty.
Given its broad range of locations and verticals, Hudson Group selected PCMS Vision Commerce because of its scalable architecture and its ability to unify all retail and hospitality POS functionality. Hudson Group stores serve more than 300,000 daily passengers checking out in more than 100 million annual transactions.
