Edwards, Chisholm to lead CBRE's integrated retail accounts practice

Two retail real estate vets have joined CBRE’s Integrated Retail Accounts practice.

Branson Edwards has been named executive VP and leader of integrated retail accounts in the Americas. He joins CBRE from Newmark Knight Frank, where he built and managed the firm’s national Retail Occupier Services business. Prior to Newmark, Edwards led the same practice at JLL after it acquired his retail advisory firm, The Standard Group, in 2008.

Mike Chisholm joins Edwards in the unit as senior VP. The two will work with Brandon Famous, CBRE’s Global Retail Occupier Leader, to provide retailers with customer analytics and strategy across all channels, re-invention of the supply chain, the store portfolio, and the digital footprint.

Chisholm spent 22 years in the mobile telecommunications industry where he developed retail channel and store development practices for VoiceStream, T-Mobile and AT&T Mobility. At AT&T, he was responsible for the design, placement, and expansion of the retail portfolio.

“It’s just a tremendous moment in retail,” Edwards said. “Retailers and firms that don’t yet think of themselves as retailers are asking for deeper solutions and more impactful outcomes.”
