Faith Hope Consolo opens shop in Harlem
Legendary New York City real estate broker Faith Hope Consolo, who’s planted retailers on the length and breadth of Fifth and Madison Avenues, has officially planted a stake uptown.
Her Worldwide Leasing Team at Douglas Elliman announced the opening of an exclusive agency to lease space on Lenox Avenue between 115th and 116th Streets in Harlem.
"We're watching Uptown mature," Consolo said. "This four-mile fusion of cultures is attracting many new residential tenants clamoring for more restaurants and boutiques as Central Harlem continues to transform and develop."
A Whole Foods opened in the neighborhood last summer and upscale eateries are following trend set by celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson with his Red Rooster in attracting foodies to Harlem. They include Settepani Ristorante and Sexy Taco/Dirty Cash.
