JLL names first global retail VP

1/15/2019
Charlotte Elstob has been named VP of international retail at JLL, a newly created position.

Elstob joined the company’s London office in 2011 as a graduate surveyor and was named director of U.K. shopping center leasing and development last year. She will now work out of JLL’s New York office as a singular point of contact for international retailers looking to enter the U.S. market and domestic brands expanding abroad.

“We’re very excited to have Charlotte cross the pond to take on this important new role,” said Naveen Jaggi, president of retail advisory services at JLL “Her strong retailer relationships, especially in the U.K. and Europe, will be invaluable as we look to help our retail partners achieve their goals.”

Elstob has worked with landlords such as Unibail Westfield Rodamco, Land Securities, and Intu Group, and has helped place retailers in prime locations including Westfield Stratford, the U.K.’s busiest shopping center.

Last fall, CBRE created a Global Retail Occupier Committee composed of senior global executives. The committee is chaired by Brandon Famous.
