Katz Properties rebrands as KPR
East Coast shopping center owner Katz Properties enters the new year with a new name: KPR.
The name change comes 15 years after managing partners Daniel Katz and Daniel Kaufthal formed the company.
“Our 15-year anniversary presented an opportune time to demonstrate how we’ve evolved as a full-service investor-operator,” Kaufthal said. “In today’s retail environment, we feel it’s important to communicate the company’s breadth to our investors, partners and tenants.”
KPR’s 32-property portfolio focuses on grocery-anchored centers and power villages in eastern submarkets. The Boston-based company has a presence in 14 states.
