Bronx, N.Y. — Metropolitan Realty Associates announced the sale of Riverdale Crossing located in Bronx, New York, for approximately $133 million to New York City-based Vanbarton Group LLC.

The 165,000-sq.-ft. outdoor shopping mall is 98% leased and anchored by BJ’s Wholesale. New retailers joining Riverdale Crossing choosing it as their first Bronx location include: Petco, CityMD, Chipotle, Smashburger and Buffalo Wild Wings.

“Riverdale Crossing has attracted well-known national retailers to serve Riverdale and Kingsbridge residents who have long been underserved by high-quality retail, and that is a lifestyle and economic benefit to the community,” said Joseph A. Farkas, president for MRA. “For the buyer, Riverdale Crossing provides a long-term fixed revenue stream and is located in a desirable, infill location in the third most densely populated county in the nation.”
