Retail vet joins C-suite at West Marine

Stacy Renfro has been named chief commercial officer of West Marine.

Stacy Renfro has joined the senior leadership team at West Marine.

The nation’s leading provider of aftermarket products and services to the boating, fishing, sailing and watersports markets named Renfro as chief commercial officer. She reports to Eric Kufel, CEO.

Renfro has more than 25 years of experience in E-commerce, marketing, planning, merchandising and customer experience. She joins West Marine from mDesign Home Décor, a direct-to-consumer home storage and décor brand, where she has served as CEO since August 2020.

Prior to mDesign, Renfro was chief digital and customer experience officer at The Vitamin Shoppe (2018 – 2020), where she led all digital channels, marketing, creative, customer care, and customer experience.  

Before joining The Vitamin Shoppe, Renfro held several executive leadership positions at Pier 1 Imports.

She also previously spent nine years in senior merchandising, allocation, planning, and e-commerce positions at J.C. Penney (2004 – 2013).

West Marine operates more than 236 physical stores across 38 states and Puerto Rico and two eCommerce platforms reaching consumers and professional customers.
