Conn’s expanding in New Orleans market
Conn’s HomePlus is growing its footprint in the Big Easy.
The Houston-based specialty retailer of furniture, mattresses, home appliances and consumer electronics plans to open three stores in the New Orleans market. The openings include a location in the Manhattan Crossing shopping center, Harvey, La. Opened on Feb. 15, the 45,000-sq.-ft. Harvey store is the eighth Conn's HomePlus location in Louisiana, and gives the company a total of 124 stores across 14 states.
Upcoming Conn’s HomePlus locations in the New Orleans market include Slidell and Metairie, slated to open in late June.
"We are excited to expand our footprint in Louisiana," said Norm Miller, Conn's chairman and CEO. "In addition to three new stores in New Orleans, we opened a second location in Baton Rouge, joining a store that is celebrating its 20th anniversary.”
