Former David’s Bridal exec joins Nest

Nest, a provider of integrated facility management services, has appointed Michael Toth as chief information officer. Toth joins Nest from David’s Bridal, where he was senior VP, CIO.

While at David’s Bridal, Toth led a global team of IT professionals supporting over 300 plus locations across North America and the United Kingdom. His experience includes governance and security, data and analytics, proprietary software development, call center execution, and direct involvement with board of director initiatives.

Toth’s responsibilities at Nest will include furthering the firm’s analytical and financial tools for the end user, collaborating with the product team to ensure the Nest Facilitate platform continues to be best in class, and bringing additional technologies to help the company maintain a competitive advantage.

“The integrated facility management model is not going away, as a matter of fact, it’s gaining great traction in our space,” said Rob Almond, CEO, Nest. “We are focused on ensuring we put the best tools possible in front of our clients, employees, and ISPs that will empower them to be more strategic versus tactical. Toth’s accomplishments speak for themselves but what really excites us is his bandwidth of understanding the needs of multiple end users, including the life line of our client base, the facilities themselves.”

Earlier this year, Nest brought on Jason Cesare as CFO. Similar to Toth, Cesare comes from a heavy retail background.

“The investment in these executives is imperative to our growth”, said Almond. “I’m thrilled that we continue to get an audience with the C-Suite of our clients and prospects.”
