PGA Tour Superstore continues expansion

PGA Tour Superstore is adding four more locations to its expanding store portfolio.

The experiential golf gear and apparel retailer announced the opening of four stores during the next two months, including its first store in Austin, Texas, which will debut on May 25. Additional openings are slated for Boston on June 1, Denver on June 8 and Sarasota in July.

The new stores will give PGA Tour Superstore a total of 41 stores. The retailer said it will continue to be opportunistic and aggressively invest in its brick-and-mortar business.

“We are systematically building our presence in golf-centric markets throughout the country and plan to have up to 50 stores by the end of next year,” said Dick Sullivan, president and CEO, PGA Tour Superstore. “Our ‘customer-experience’ mentality is our single best differentiator and is unmatched in the golf retail business. Combine that with our professional expertise, interactive environment and everything needed to play, we inspire beginners to avid golfers to have fun and enjoy the game.”

PGA Tour Superstores offer in-house custom club fittings and repair, along with lessons from certified teaching professionals. Other attractions include practice hitting bays with swing analysis software, interactive simulators and expansive putting greens. The merchandise assortment includes clubs, accessories, footwear and a wide variety of apparel for men, women and juniors.
