‘Dash Button’ hits Amazon’s homepages

1/20/2017
The device that allows Amazon shoppers to re-order their favorite items with a single click of their finger has a virtual alter-ego.

The Dash Button is now an icon available on Amazon’s homepage and the retailer’s app homescreen, according to ReCode.

The company is automatically creating icons for items Amazon shoppers recently ordered. Meanwhile, Prime members can create a virtual one-click button for “tens of millions of products available for Prime delivery,” allowing users to place an order with a single click of the button, ReCode said.

The icons are free, while the device is $4.99.
