Longtime specialty fashion retailer takes online plunge

After 70 years, EbLens has decided it’s time to join the world of e-commerce.

Based in Torrington, Conn., EbLens operates 48 stores across the Northeast U.S. It started out as a clothing store for “working men” and has evolved to selling urban streetwear fashions for men, women, and children. EbLens is once again undergoing a major change.

The retailer has launched its first online store, eblens.com. Site features include wish list functionality for Eblens loyalty account holders, curated assortments, and seamless access to live inventory in all stores for all products.

“We are so proud to successfully launch online shopping on eblens.com,” said Vincent Mariani, CEO for EbLens. “This major milestone supports a critical key element for EbLens’ multichannel strategy. Our customers deserve the absolute best, and they now can participate in the same premium shopping experience they are accustomed to in our 48 locations, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on eblens.com.”
