Aaron Wu lined up $155 million worth of deals in his first months at DLC.

Aaron Wu has taken over as head of acquisitions at DLC Management which, with some 70 centers from Maine to Florida and west to Texas, is one of the nation’s biggest owners of outdoor centers.

Wu spent the last eight years at AmCap, a retail real estate investment group specialized in grocery-anchored centers that manages more than $1 billion worth of assets for leading institutional investors. During the five months he’s been at DLC, he’s booked $130 million-worth of properties that will close in the coming months, according to Adam Ifshin, CEO of the Elmsford, N.Y.-based company.

“The flying start Aaron got off to with one $25,000,000 off-market deal already bought and closed is proof positive that he’s already another excellent DLC teammate,” Ifshin said.

Wu says he’s been energized in his first months on the job.

I like a fast-paced environment, and I like to be challenged,” he said. “I like to perform and get things accomplished, so I’m thrilled to have made a move here.”
