RCP Companies unveils $100 million mixed-use development project

Huntsville, Ala. -- RCP Companies reveals plans for its newest development in Huntsville, Alabama, within the Central Business District. CityCentre at Big Spring is a $100 million mixed-use development project integrated within Big Spring on nine acres downtown and between Von Braun Center and Twickenham Square.



Site demolition has been completed with construction expected to commence by year-end and phase one opening in 2016.



“Every dynamic, growing city needs a compelling urban core, and CityCentre is a critical piece in Huntsville’s revitalization strategy to emerge as the South’s top mid-sized city,” states Max Grelier, executive VP for RCP Companies.



CityCentre at Big Spring will be comprised of nearly 50,000 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space, over 270 upscale apartment homes and office lofts. In addition, plans also include two hotels that will provide more than 230 rooms, along with structured and street-level, pedestrian crossings, bike paths and walkways.
