Walmart is touting its newest innovations — and the associates with the ideas — in a blog on its website.
In the posting, the retailer noted that it is empowering associates with the technology and tools needed to service customers, streamline day-to-day operations, and transform operations. The blog highlights three associates that use technology in very different ways, including using machine learning to personalize experiences; leveraging blockchain to drive food safety and digitizing the onboarding process. The common thread however, is all three associates are using solutions “at a scale that drives significant change and impact,” according to the blog.
