CBRE has acquired CBRE/MEGA, which has been affiliated with the global real estate company since 2000.

Founded in 1975, CBRE/MEGA is one of Omaha’s largest full-service commercial real estate services firms, with more than 100 professionals providing sales, leasing, and project management services and managing a portfolio of more than 5.5 million sq. ft.

The Omaha operation will continue to be led by managing director Bennett Ginsberg.

“This is a great move for our firm and our people strategically and culturally,” Ginsberg said. “Our clients will benefit from CBRE’s broad spectrum of services, global reach, and deep resources, including significant and ongoing technology investments.”

Earlier this year, Omaha broke ground on a $300 million revitalization of its Riverfront that will introduce a performance pavilion, a sculpture garden, and interactive water features as well as private commercial development that will include retail.
