Coal Vines to open at CityLine mixed-use development

11/12/2014

Richardson, Texas--Commercial real estate firm KDC announced that Coal Vines will join CityLine, the company’s 186-acre mixed-use project in Richardson, Texas. The restaurant is scheduled to open in summer 2015.

“The Coal Vines concept is ideal for CityLine and brings an element of fun to State Street and the entertainment district,” said KDC’s Colin Fitzgibbons.

Joseph Palladino, owner of Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse and the creator of Uptown Coal Vines pizza and wine bistro, will introduce not only the Italian neighborhood bistro concept at CityLine but also an attached Coal Vines Market for the stop-and-go patron.

“I want to identify and address all the needs of our patrons at CityLine to ensure that dining locals, as well as busy professionals can enjoy the freshness of our food in the restaurant or through our convenient grab-and-go market. We will also offer catering and delivery services.”

Coal Vines at CityLine will be part fast-casual eatery and part traditional hole-in-the-wall New York neighborhood pizza and wine bar. The restaurant is known for its Italian favorites such as hand-stretched, coal-fired pizza; salads; gourmet chicken and fish entrees; and homemade pasta dishes.

Coal Vines will be located on State Street directly adjacent to CityLine Plaza.
