T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods to open at Shops at La Palmera

Corpus Christi, Texas -- Fort Worth, Texas-based Trademark Property Co. announced that TJX Cos. concepts T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods will open this fall at The Shops at La Palmera, a 200,000-sq.-ft. outdoor shopping center in Corpus Christi, Texas.



Construction has already begun on the 44,750-sq.-ft. space accommodating the two new stores, which will be located adjacent to one another, each with a separate store entrance. The Shops at La Palmera store marks T.J. Maxx’s first in Corpus Christi. HomeGoods is new to market also.



“We are pleased at the caliber of retailers we continue to bring to The Shops at La Palmera,” said Trademark chairman and CEO Terry Montesi.



Renovation and construction work continues at The Shops at La Palmera, with work well underway on the recently announced Dick’s Sporting Goods, which is set to open this fall. Construction will soon be wrapping up on Corner Bakery, which is scheduled to open in June.



The new design of the property will complement that of Trademark’s La Palmera, a 1-million-sq.-ft. super regional mall located across from The Shops at La Palmera.
