Topshop opens its largest U.S. store

11/6/2014

New York --British fast-fashion retailer Topshop, a unit of Arcadia Group, opened a flagship on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue, close to Rockefeller Center.

The four-level, 40,000-sq.-ft. store is Topshop’s largest U.S. location to date, and second in size only to its 90,000-sq.-ft. London flagship. The new U.S. outpost carries the brand’s full collection of apparel and accessories, and also includes a beauty department and nail bar. The lower level is devoted to the men’s lines (Topman).

Topshop promises to replenish the store’s stock weekly, with 300 new pieces being delivered every seven days.

Topshop is starting to beef up its U.S. presence. In addition to the new flagship, the company has four other stores in the works, including a joint men’s and women’s store in Fashion Valley, San Diego, and a stand-alone Topshop in Springfield Town Center, Washington, opening in the fall of 2014.

In spring 2015, the company will open joint Topshop and Topman stores in Galleria Mall, and Lennox Square Mall, Atlanta.
