Rebag has added pricey designer accessories to its lineup.

The digitally native luxury handbag reseller said it is now accepting and selling products in exchange for instant upfront payment or Rebag credit from a broad range of accessory categories, including sunglasses, scarves, shawls, charms and keychains, belts, gloves, hair accessories and hats, small home accessories, small leather goods,  and fashion jewelry. The mix includes items from top luxury brands such as Hermes, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

Rebag said it is taking the “dexterity and vigor” that it applies to handbags to expand into new categories, using its knowledge of the resale industry to meed wider customer demand.

"When we launched Rebag, our goal was to become the expert in luxury handbags, which we largely succeeded in," said Charles Gorra, CEO and founder of Rebag. "By expanding our business model with the launch of accessories, we are excited to broaden our knowledge and continue to share it with our customers."

The expansion is in line with Rebag's two recent initiatives, Clair by Rebag and Rebag Infinity. Clair gives consumers an instant online appraisal of an item. With Rebag Infinity, shoppers are given up to a year to trade their purchase back to Rebag for anywhere from 70% - 80% of the original Rebag price.

As with handbags, clients can sell all accessories within Rebag's accepted designers and model lists  in-person at any of Rebag’s nine physical stores and receive an offer and payment in less than 60 minutes. Online, customers can submit their accessories for a full buy-out via Clair.
