Chain Store Age's SPECS Show will open its 54th annual conference with a keynote address by Marcus Lemonis, the prolific retail investor, entrepreneur and star of CNBC's hit reality series, “The Profit."

In a presentation on Monday, March 19, 2018, at 8 a.m., Lemonis will explore the role that brick-and-mortar stores play in today’s marketplace, and how to drive growth, elevate the customer experience, and improve business processes.

The Tuesday morning keynote will be given by Daniel Burrus, one of the world's leading futurists. He will discuss hard trends (what will happen) and soft trends (what might happen) and their impact on physical retail.

SPECS/2018, produced by Chain Store Age, is dedicated to physical retailing, with a focus on store design/planning, construction and facilities management. Combining networking, business partnering and education, this year's event boasts some 30 workshops and sessions that will cover topics and issues impacting brick-and-mortar stores, from store design opportunities to construction challenges and facilities maintenance innovations.
