Restoration Hardware continues expansion in Florida

BY Marianne Wilson

Deluxe home furnishings retailer RH (Restoration Hardware) opened the latest iteration of its innovative “gallery’ format, opening a location at CityPlace, in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida.

The four-story, 80,000-sq.-ft. store, its seventh in the Sunshine State, is home to all of RH’s businesses — RH Interiors, Modern, Outdoor, Baby & Child, Teen, Interior Design and Hospitality. It also includes a rooftop restaurant, wine vault and coffee bar by celebrated restaurateur and founding president of RH Hospitality, Brendan Sodikoff.

“RH West Palm reflects our quest to revolutionize physical retailing, blurring the lines between residential and retail, indoors and outdoors, home and hospitality, seamlessly integrating food, wine, art, and design,” said RH chairman & CEO Gary Friedman.

The new RH location features tropical gardens and a 14-ft.-high water wall. Patrons can dine under a soaring glass atrium in the rooftop restaurant, which is accented with olive trees and fountains.

“Dining under a soaring glass atrium…. enjoying a glass of Rosé or Cabernet in our dramatic wine vault….it’s an experience that activates all of the senses and cannot be replicated online,” said Friedman.
