Footwear retailer put best foot forward with new communications tool
Browns Shoes is stepping up communications to its stores.
The Montreal-based footwear retailer has selected Opterus’ OpsCenter solution as its centralized communications and task management tool. The multi-modular, cloud solution is designed specifically for retailers to effectively manage and execute store tasks and communications. It measures and increases operational compliance, communicates corporate policy, manages day-to-day objectives and tasks, and handles issues between corporate office and store locations.
“We’ve used an internally-built email and task platform for the last number of years and felt that now is the time to step up our communications abilities,” said Eric Wagstaff, director, human resources and retail support at Browns Shoes. “The speed of change in retail is increasing.
